Land Acknowledgement

We stand on ancient land, shaped by Indigenous peoples over countless generations. Literacy Unlimited is on Kanien’kehà:ka territory, a place where many First Nations, including the Kanien’kehá:ka, the Huron/Wendat, the Abenaki, and the Anishinaabeg, have met and shared stories. This sacred land holds the wisdom of the past, and we’re honoured to be part of its ongoing journey.

Through the application process you will meet with our Nominating Committee and experience the high level of governance and discipline with which we run the organization.

We are looking for someone who is willing to become actively involved in our organization, roll up their sleeves and help move our organization forward, bring ideas to the table, support our fundraising efforts, and help raise awareness of the literacy challenges facing our community.
